Mastery of vocabulary in second grade students at SMPN 3 Campalagian is still lacking, so this study aims to determine whether the TikTok application is effective in mastering the vocabulary of second grade students of SMPN 3 Campalagian. The method used in this research is quantitative with quasi-experimental research design of control group pre-test and post-test design or non-equivalent control group design. The researcher involved class VIII A as the experimental class that received treatment using TikTok application and class VIII B as the control class. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test average score data from both classes. In the pre-test score, the experimental class obtained 6.78 while the control class obtained 8.46. In the post-test score, the experimental class obtained 49.35 while the control class obtained 29.26. Furthermore, based on the results of hypothesis testing, a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 was obtained so that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the TikTok application is effective on the vocabulary mastery of class VIII students of SMPN 3 Campalagian in the experimental class. Penguasaan kosakata pada siswa kelas dua di SMPN 3 Campalagian masih kurang, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aplikasi TikTok efektif terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa kelas dua SMPN 3 Campalagian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kuasi

Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi TikTok efektif terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Campalagian pada kelas eksperimen. Kata kunci : Penguasaan, TikTok, Kosa-kata.
